The encounter with a fortune teller changed my life
At 23, I quit my job and started something new, but things didn't go well. I was in a tough spot. During that time, I met a renowned fortune teller in Yokohama through an introduction from a woman I was dating. She was reputed to be the most accurate in Yokohama. Here, I affectionately refer to her as "Baba." I was dragged along because she was into fortune-telling and insisted I go with her.
However, she had an incredibly intense personality.
When we met, she said, "If you stay as you are, your company will rapidly decline," and "Your girlfriend will abandon you." She was saying whatever came to mind. I thought to myself, "What an annoying woman," but I couldn't get mad since she was introduced to me by the woman I was seeing. I just listened quietly.
Among her predictions, the most striking was that I would "fall out with my business partner." At that time, I was running a company with my childhood friend and best friend since elementary school. The prediction that a relationship spanning over ten years with my best friend would collapse was beyond belief. I remember feeling a sense of hostility towards Baba for saying something like that.
However, it turned out to be true...

I received a fortune-telling reading based on a Qi study from Baba and started practicing the Qi study technique called "Houi-Tori (auspicious direction travel)." However, three months and 12 days after I went to Osaka, my struggling company miraculously revived from the brink of a management crisis. The previously stagnant sales skyrocketed to become one of the top in the Kanto region, and the terms of trade with manufacturers significantly improved.
Following the lady's guidance, I set up an office to the west during auspicious times and diligently practiced Houi-Tori. As a result, the company's business performance steadily grew, and within two years, it reached an annual revenue of 400 million yen. Money was flowing in, and my romantic life also flourished. It was the spring of my 24th year.
Around that time, just as the lady had foreseen, a rift appeared in my relationship with my business partner and childhood friend. This led to a bitter dispute over the company's management. Ultimately, I sold the company to my friend and embarked on a new business venture. Thanks partly to auspicious directions, the next business seemed to be heading in a successful direction.
Downfall
However, I was young!
Things went so well that I became arrogant and started to believe it was all my own doing, despite the success resulting from the power of Qi study and the assistance of Baba. Within six months, I ignored her advice and stopped doing Houi-Tori.
In no time, the business performance deteriorated, and I fell into a cycle of debt. I lost the woman I was with, and my connection with the lady faded away...
Starting over from scratch
Two years later, with determination, I turned to Baba again and started studying Qi study. Of course, she made countless sarcastic remarks about two thousand times. While thinking, "What a bothersome old lady," I couldn't help shedding tears for the fortune teller who had accepted me despite my previous betrayal.
Moreover, this time she not only guided me in performing the auspicious direction technique but also taught me her consultation methods.
Indeed, Qi study turned out to be wonderful!
One day, after meeting a girl at a drinking party, I called Baba to have her do a compatibility reading with her. She was pretty beautiful, and I was a bit hesitant, but according to Baba, she said, "You should start wooing her right away! Don't worry. She's the type who can't refuse."
I thought, "What nonsense is she talking about!" But I gave it a shot and tried to flirt with her. And surprisingly... she didn't resist at all and got caught up in my pace... It was an event that made me truly realize how amazing Qi study can be.
Fresh start
Afterward, thanks to diligent Houi-Tori practices and the firm guidance of Baba, I hit the jackpot during the mobile phone boom. I established my current company, Takeshita Office Inc., and within about a year, I successfully escaped from the cycle of debt!
The Decision to Become a Fortune Teller and the Present
Based on my own experiences, I am convinced that being a fortune teller is a fulfilling and responsible profession that can strongly support people's lives. These experiences led me to spread the knowledge of "Kigaku (Qi Study)," the discipline that saved my life as a fortune teller.
Previously, I managed a wholesale and retail company dealing with communication devices and home appliances while practicing fortune-telling. However, thanks to the growing number of clients, I had little time for other ventures.
Currently, I specialize as a professional fortune teller, providing consultations. As of October 2020, I am celebrating 25 years since the establishment of my practice.
