Key points for finding a residence

Directional relocation is based on the premise that it should be in a favorable direction, but there are also other important rules to consider.

The first absolute condition when considering relocation is that it should be in a ☆great auspicious direction. Next in importance is finding a place that does not drastically lower your energy!

When searching for rental housing, look for places that meet the following criteria. Conversely, if these conditions are not met, it can significantly lower your fortune levels, and even if you move in a ☆great auspicious direction, the effect may be diminished. Please be mindful of this.

Key Points for Directional Relocation and Room Hunting

Good Exposure to Sunlight!

The direction of the largest window in the room determines the room's orientation. It should face east to south, allowing direct sunlight to enter the room. Poor sunlight exposure in a room can significantly decrease your luck.

Sunlight exposure is the most crucial factor, so you should thoroughly investigate it. If possible, check the detailed map of the surroundings and consider the orientation of the roads and buildings. Don't rely too much on the term 'south-facing' in real estate listings; sometimes, even a southwest-facing room may be labeled 'south-facing.'

Even if you're not at home during the day, sunlight exposure remains critically important. Sunlight charging the room during the day helps energize it. So, don't underestimate the importance of sunlight just because you're not at home during the day!

The room should have a rectangular or square shape!

The room's shape refers to the overall layout, considering the living area, kitchen, bathroom, and toilet if you rent an apartment.

It should be either a perfect square or a rectangle. Irregular shapes with protrusions or recesses are not suitable. Some consider rooms with protrusions as auspicious ☆; however, based on my experience, they have about a 60% chance of adverse ▲ effects. Therefore, it's advisable to look for rooms that are straightforward squares or rectangles.

Minor irregularities caused by pillars or utility meters are acceptable, and features like bay windows and balcony shapes are disregarded.

It should not be adjacent to temples, shrines, or cemeteries.

If it is adjacent to these, your luck will significantly decline. Well, even common sense tells you that it's undesirable, right? If possible, choose a place at least 300 meters away and, in unavoidable cases, at least 100 meters away.

Do not bury a well or the place where the well was not buried.

In the case of a condominium, the ▲adverse effects are not as significant, but for detached houses, burying a well and building a house to live on top of it can cause a considerable decline in luck. It should probably be fine in newly developed residential areas, but exercise caution when renovating an old house.

Ensure it is not a land with a shady history.

Locations such as former gravesites, historical sites with negative associations, crime scenes, areas of significant accidents resulting in deaths, and places where hospitals used to be generally tend to have negative energy or ▲unfortunate effects.

* Locations, where people have died due to war or disasters are excluded from the list mentioned above, except the areas near the epicenters of the atomic bombings in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, as well as the heavily fought regions in Okinawa.

Not being adjacent to rivers or ponds.

Ponds and swamps are problematic. While a clean river doesn't pose many issues, a dirty river can be troublesome. If possible, aim for a distance of at least 500 meters, and in unavoidable cases, try to maintain at least a 300-meter separation.

Avoid being adjacent to hospitals specializing in severe illnesses.

It's OK to have general clinics like internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, and otolaryngology nearby. However, keep a minimum distance of 500 meters from emergency hospitals, surgical facilities, and especially cancer wards, where seriously ill patients are admitted.

The above are absolute requirements that must be met without exception. Additionally, the following are "desirable" conditions you should try to meet to the best of your ability. Make every effort to find a property that meets these conditions if possible.

Being not noisy

At a distance of at least 300 meters from main roads and railways if possible. Even in unavoidable cases, it's necessary to maintain a distance that is not too noisy.

Avoid being beneath high-voltage power lines.

High-voltage power lines can distort magnetic fields. Avoid being directly beneath them.

Avoid land that has been reclaimed within the last ten years.

Reclaimed land is only considered as land from a feng shui perspective at least ten years after reclamation. If you live on reclaimed land, choose land that has been reclaimed for at least ten years or more.

Avoid extremely low-rent apartment complexes.

In cases of meager rent, there's often a concentration of extremely low-income individuals, and this frequently leads to a decrease in the overall fortune of the area.

Strictly speaking, there are still more conditions to consider, like the ideal location for the kitchen or where the bathroom should not be, and so on.

However, trying to fulfill all of these conditions can be pretty challenging. Therefore, in a typical relocation, let's focus on meeting the abovementioned requirements! You don't need to worry too much about the rest. (But, achieving just these conditions can be pretty challenging on its own...)

What's often found in general Feng Shui books is an attempt to improve one's fortune solely through the arrangement of the home, which can be an impractical approach. On the other hand, the Takeshita method stabilizes extreme drops in fortune through home arrangement and elevates one's fortune through relocation or directional practices.

If you still have options available, seek professional consultation!

Finally, there is one more condition besides the ones mentioned above.

It should be a location that makes sense from a common-sense perspective.

Just because it's a ☆great auspicious direction doesn't mean living in the middle of an entertainment district is a good idea. First and foremost, it needs to be a place that makes sense from a common-sense perspective, considering factors like safety and the environment. Especially for women living alone, it's essential to check common-sense aspects such as the safety of the area and the foot traffic on the way home, even if it's in a favorable direction.
